Another Direct Restoration case.

Tooth No.14 was treated using the Shield Restoration technique. After performing IDS, caries extending to the palatal root surface was unexpectedly detected at the very end 😭. We decided to stop the procedure that day without scanning. In retrospect, postponing the scan until confirming pulpal vitality turned out to be the right decision—and I’d like to believe that was a good call.

Tooth No.13 presented with a cavity that would ordinarily indicate crown preparation. However, thanks to the possibility of approaching from the #14 side and the fact that the caries was located in a non–canine-guided area, we were miraculously able to complete the treatment with a direct restoration.

It was truly an honor to be able to provide such a minimally invasive treatment.

14番はShield Restoration technic→IDS後、最後の最後に口蓋側歯根部に渡るカリエスを発見😭この日はScanせずに一旦終了。歯髄温存が出来るのを確認してからのScanになったことが、良かったと思えれば良いかな。

13番は本来クラウン形成となりうる窩洞でしたが、14番サイドからのアプローチもできて犬歯のガイドしてない部分のカリエスだったので奇跡的にDirect Restorationで済みました。低侵襲な治療を提供出来て、光栄でした！
